I have been given an unrepeatable opportunity to lead my own studio at University of Washington.
The students studied the dynamic interplay between mass and space as it defines the architectural experience, with mass creating the structure and boundaries, while space facilitates movement, functionality, and perception.
Mass and space form a cohesive friendship that shapes how a building is navigated and understood, leading each students’ individual cube configuration to become part of one giant collective mass.
